I believe that Children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way, show them all the beauty they possess inside, give them a sense of pride and let them remind us of who we used to be... The greatest love of all, is easy to achieve, learning to love yourself, is the greatest love of all... Thank you Whitney, you were so great, sending love right back to you.
Like the lyrics, I believe that children are the future, we teach them well but we don't let them lead the way, we push them into careers that make them the most money. How nice to be a banker, a lawyer, a doctor... and of course there are ways in those professions to serve Jesus. But the child raised in His ways that says I want to save children and show them love is a leader because they know who to follow. You did your job right, there is nothing wrong with our youth, the problems are with the parents. If I go to any high-school today, anyone, anywhere in the western world and say - "your passports and bags are packed and on the side of the school gym and there is a jet plane loaded with critical supplies to save people in developing country X. To help us you just need a big heart and want to hug babies, hand out food etc. We have doctors and nurses already onboard. It is a choice though, if you want to come, find your bag. The police have cleared the highway and the plane will taxi out of the school yard and to the road in twenty minutes. It won't be luxury, you'll sleep in tents and eat very basic food. We won't judge you if you don't want to come, it is up to you."
I'd be highly surprised if even ten kids were left in the gym. They don't want to work in cubicle farms pushing paper anyway. They're born superheroes. We did raise them well and with Love, now we have to loosen our grasps. I'm not saying stop guiding them, but really let them choose their path. Wealth and money are not the same thing, just like selfishness and loving yourself aren't either. So without further a do, I'll start making a story to go with that idea.
