**This is an idea seed for a story, the story may get made later today, dedicated to a wonderful mother MC**
When a child cries the pain is either physical or emotional. We think that physical pain is worse and sometimes that is true, but emotional pain leaves invisible scars. Thought they are invisible to the naked eye they, like Love, are there and can be felt. These scars of emotional pain can stay with a person from infancy to the end of their life, so why do we still smile and pat our children on the head when they cry? Yes, they are "big babies"," babies in bigger bodies. They do grow up of course but the rate of growth is more different that science has proved (I don't have a PhD but instead a M.O.M., hehe) Emotional vulnerability is the mark of a person who needs a greater demonstration of love - hugs, cuddles, being near. If your child loves pre-school, then great. If they cry and don't want to go, why are they going? They are telling you in the only language they have that can never be a lie that they are in emotional pain. If you then leave them your message is "you can't trust your own (fill in the blank), I will betray you even though I say I love you and I know you both love me and are dependant on me." Perhaps you need the money, then let's get a new way in which children can always have a caregiver who really loves them. Why do we accept a monetary system in which a third of the world is starving, a third hasn't enough, and even in a nation like Canada one sixth of children haven't enough food? Who is this game of "Monopoly" benefitting? I choose not to pass Go or take the cash, I've left the board altogether. Board games are boring anyway. I want a system that isn't a rigged game, who's in?
***extra note: if you are buying your kids love with material goods they are starving on the inside***
